2009-2010 SIP Timeline

 

  • July 10, 2009 – Draft SIP Template in Word format distributed to schools with Instructions
  • August 28, 2009 – Title I schools and ARRA schools submit SIP for review
  • August 28 - Sept. 11, 2009 Title I and ARRA school SIPs are reviewed and edits completed
  • Sept. 11, 2009 – SIPs from all Non-Title I schools submitted for review
  • Sept. 11, 2009 – Title I Appendix A & Parent Family Support Plan (Appendix B) due to Dr. Clarke
  • Sept. 12 – October 12, 2009 SIPs reviewed and edits completed by schools
  • Sept. 18, 2009 – Tech Plans due to Patti Elkin
  • Before Sept. 30, 2009 Schools have SIP approved by SAC

School Advisory Council (SAC)

These forms will be updated with the 2009-2010 forms as soon as they are available.  Check back frequently for information and updates.

 

Contact your school's principal for information regarding SAC. School Advisory Councils meet a minimum of 4 times a year at each school. Each SAC is comprised of Parents, Teachers, Administrators, Community Members and Business Members. If you are interested in becoming a voting member of this group, please contact your school location for information.

Plan on attending the SAC Chairmen's Meeting on September 10, 2009, at 6:00, in the Board Room at the LCPEC.

This link provides data for schools regarding the points necessary to achieve Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) in Reading, Math and Writing for the last three years as well as what will be necessary in those categories for the upcoming three years. Data is provided by the Department of Accountability, Research & Continuous Improvement.

Teacher Retention Report (pdf) Can be used for Strategic Plan Goal

This report provides teacher retention data for the 07-08 school year and Summer 2008.

Stability = Percent of teachers who began and ended the year at the same school (August-May)

Mobility = Percent of movement in or out compared to the total beginning number of teachers
